Křtiny Chateau is situated 14 km from Brno close to the Baroque Chrám Jména Panny Marie (Temple of the Virgin Mary) of pilgrimage designed by the architect Jan Blažej Santini (1677-1723) which was declared a site of National Heritage in 2008. Since 1994, under the administration of the "Školní lesní podnik Křtiny" the chateau has been going through extensive repairs and reconstructions. Both a teaching hall and social hall have been created, and accommodation premises on two storeys, a ground-floor kitchen with a restaurant, exhibition and information area as well as multipurpose rooms.
