STRÁŽNICE CHATEAU Commercial Lease and Boat Transport: Boat lease including various additional programmes are ensured by individual boat rental companies. Small motorboat - customers can operate it themselves; routes according to their wishes; capacity of 4-12 people. Regular boat service - boat trips on a large boat designed for large groups of people; shorter time periods at specific routes, e.g. 2-4 hours; bikes allowed. Guides usually attend boat trips too, trips are usually combined with visits to various sights in the neighbourhood. Cruise ships - motor flatboats for 30-60 people; leasing or regular boat service suitable for company events, trainings, family celebrations or weddings; wheelchair-accessible; fully roofed. Houseboats - equipped for a comfortable stay mainly for 4-5 people, some with a capacity of 8-12 people. They can be leased for weekend breaks, often for all-week stays. Canoes - trips along meanders of the River Morava; surroundings suitable for camping and swimming. The water path is also open for owners of private boats. "Boating season opening" connected with a cultural programme always takes place on the 1st of May. The water path is always put into hibernation on the 28th of October with so called "Boating season closing". A series of unique technical equipment and road and industrial bridges have been created on the canal's route. The water path currently serves for recreation boat trips from Otrokovice all the way to Skalice in Slovakia and for separate parts of the river on the way from Kroměříž to Otrokovice and from Rohatec to Hodonín.
